Congratulations Guys. After 9 wins,  and a total of 84 points, Bateau Bay became the 2025/26 Grade 3 open pennant champions.

2025-26 Open Pennant Winners - Grade 5

2025/2026 CCB Open Pennant Finals - Grade 5.

Bateau Bay 68 (10 points) defeated Canton Beach 52 (0 points).
 

2025-26 Grade 5 Pennants Winners

Congratulations Guys. 6 wins, and a total of 60 points, was enough to see Bateau Bay win a place in the playoffs against Canton Beach, who they defeated 68-52 to become the 2025/26 Grade 5 open pennant champions.

2025-26 Pennant Wins

 



CONGRATULATIONS GRADE 5-1

With a convincing win (all 3 rinks), against Canton Beach in the Grade 5 Pennant play off at Ettalong on Sunday, they joined Bateau Bay’s Grades 1’s & 3’s as CCB Pennant Champions.

Grades 1 & 3 were present to receive their WINNERS Pennant Flags and how fantastic was it to have the Bateau Bay Bowling Club venue manager present to share in the celebrations.

The support the club has received from the Bateau Bay Club and the Wyong Leagues Group is immeasurable and greatly appreciated.

Our STINGRAY Pennant Champions will now prepare for the State Finals to be played on 21st-23rd August 2026.
 
Grade 1 play @ YAMBA
Grade 3 play @ NBC Sports & Dundas Sports
Grade 5 play @ Figtree Sports.

2025-26 Womens Minor Pairs Champions

 

Today (23/04/2026) we saw the final of the Women's Minor Pairs for the 25-26 season. In what was a very tight contest which saw both sides play some cracking bowls, the combination of Deb McDonald and Maria Mason ran out winners over Marion Leonard and Anne Maloney 19 - 10. Congratulations to both sides for making the final and providing the crowd with a great game to watch.

2025-26 MINOR SINGLES CHAMPION



Congratulations Rob Wallace on winning the 25-26 Pioneer Kitchens Minor Singles Championship.
In what some regard as one of the hardest Championships in the Club to win, Rob defeated a courageous Ryan Wood 25 -17. Unfortunately for Ryan this was his 3rd Major Singles final defeat.

So Rob  "Welcome to the Majors".

2025-26 Womens Triples Champions


 
Congratulations to Junelle Tipping, Pauline Williams & Sam Marks.
In a game worthy of a final Sam Marks' team, defeated Julie Cox, Janice Reynolds and Lisa Caswell. With just a one shot deficit going into the last end Lisa's team just couldn't get that one shot to force an extra end.
Both teams put down some excellent bowls and the shots were eagerly applauded by the appreciative spectators. With so many "touchers" during the game the 'jack' rarely stayed on the spot.
This was one game that would have been great to replay had it been videoed.
Both teams should be congratulated for the high standard they displayed.
