Congratulations to Junelle Tipping, Pauline Williams & Sam Marks.
In
a game worthy of a final Sam Marks' team, defeated Julie Cox, Janice
Reynolds and Lisa Caswell. With just a one shot deficit going into the
last end Lisa's team just couldn't get that one shot to force an extra
end.
Both
teams put down some excellent bowls and the shots were eagerly
applauded by the appreciative spectators. With so many "touchers" during
the game the 'jack' rarely stayed on the spot.
This was one game that would have been great to replay had it been videoed.
Both teams should be congratulated for the high standard they displayed.
